In the United States alone, arthritis and joint pain affect millions of people. Of the adults suffering from the condition, about half have regular, persistent pain. An estimated 1 in 4 adults have severe joint pain. These factors lead many to search for natural arthritis pain relief.
If you have ever dealt with arthritis, you know that it isn’t straightforward or easy to understand. In fact, the term “arthritis” actually covers about one hundred different ailments and conditions.
Then there are the sufferers of joint pain who never receive an arthritis diagnosis because another disease seems the more likely culprit (when the person in question may very well be suffering due to more than one cause). People with Lyme disease, for example, often experience arthritis even though doctors refer to it simply as “joint pain.” Arthritis is most common among women and older adults, but certain types can even impact children. It is the leading cause of disability in the U.S.
Treatment often begins with drugs or injections to reduce pain and assist with movement. Analgesics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, and painkillers are just some of the choices offered to patients. In the case of rheumatoid arthritis, disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs are often used to slow or stop the immune system as it attacks itself. Finally, surgery is sometimes needed to repair or replace damaged joints. In rarer cases, surgeons fuse bones together to turn two pieces into one.
Once all of these options have been explored, arthritis pain management efforts can lead us further down the wellness path to natural treatments. Natural treatments for arthritis are wide-ranging. Some are seen as beneficial by Western medicine, while others exist on the fringes of accepted practices.
We’ve compiled 11 different natural remedies below that can help you to live a more comfortable life and alleviate joint pain, including the Advanced Cell Training method.
There are important differences between how ACT works to fight joint pain and how other natural remedies deal with it. Founder Gary Blier has found that joint pain connected to arthritis can originate from three separate sources (pathogens, autoimmune disease, and muscle wasting), and he has worked with thousands of clients to tackle all three. We’ll cover those sources and methods after looking at the usual treatments for arthritis.
Some of these may already be sitting in your pantry or on your spice shelf:
Herbs have been found to be particularly helpful in dealing with the joint pain caused by inflammation.
Arthritis electrical stimulation sends impulses through your body in order to relax your muscles and ease joint pain. Types include:
Studies show electrical stimulation can have a positive impact on chronic arthritis.
Massages move the joints and manipulate muscle groups, improving blood and lymphatic flow and incorporating an overall increased sense of wellness. Good massages for arthritis pain include petrissage, lymphatic massage, Swedish, and Shiatsu massage (based on Japanese bodywork and Chinese medicine). Massages can also help to relieve “bamboo spine,” a symptom seen most often with ankylosing spondylitis. It refers to a severe fusing of portions of the discs, resulting in a rigid spine.
Losing weight can help to relieve pressure on certain joints and can amplify the impact of additional treatments.
Movement can be a tremendous asset for the joint pain sufferer. Gentle movement and muscle work can strengthen the body.
Both heat and cold have been shown to alleviate pain in aching joints.
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine used to reroute energies and restore balance in your body.
Meditation is a wonderful way to focus and settle the mind, reducing stress and pain.
Increasing omega-3s in your diet can fight off inflammation and joint pain.
Created in the 1930s, the Rife machine uses sympathetic resonance (energy waves) to target a particular pathogen in the body by vibrating it. It can help with a wide range of complaints.
Advanced Cell Training utilizes self-healing techniques which can work on any type of arthritis-causing pain. Whether you have a specific diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis or psoriatic arthritis, or general joint pain due to arthritis or another disease, ACT can work for you.
As we discussed above, arthritis is often misdiagnosed and misunderstood. There is also a perception that it is a lifelong, incurable ailment. This is incorrect. After all, before joint pain, you were generally pain-free for years—perhaps 10, 20, or 30 years. That means your body is capable of returning to that state once more.
One of Gary’s most important discoveries in creating ACT was that joint pain is quite simple to tackle and defeat. He says, “What drove this purely traditional medical person to alternative medicine in the first place was my joint pain. Now that I understand it and now that I no longer have any joint pain, I have realized how easy it is for the body to fix.” The ACT self-healing method can get rid of arthritis pain entirely without a need for medication.
When you begin with ACT, you are asked to submit a detailed medical history, along with a list of symptoms and a pain/discomfort ranking for each. You will then join a weekly class led by Gary, which you can attend from the comfort of your own home or via your cell phone.
During these classes, Gary gives out lists of customized code words and phrases for repetition, followed by music to assist with absorption. Again, this practice can be repeated whenever and wherever you find some free time. Gary also performs muscle testing by proxy and utilizes visualization and touch techniques, all to heighten the mind-body connection. Read on below to learn more about how these practices can help with arthritis and joint pain specifically.
Pathogens are infectious agents that cause disease. Tag teams of pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, parasites, mold, and fungi, can attack the tissues around the joint, creating inflammation. The inflammation, in turn, creates pain as it develops. For the most part, this is a cause of joint pain that goes undiagnosed or unacknowledged by Western medicine.
How ACT can help: Our proprietary combination of codes, muscle testing, visualization and touch helps the body to recognize and isolate the pathogens that are to blame for these joint tissue attacks. The body can then deploy the immune system against those pathogens and get rid of them for good. When the pathogens die off, tissues are no longer inflamed and can be restored to wellness.
Autoimmune disease causes the body to harm its own joints, and this is where painful inflammation originates.
How ACT can help: Our method switches the brain’s directive so that it is no longer instructing the body to attack itself, and is instead instructing the body to heal and restore the tissues. Painful inflammation is eliminated.
With muscle wasting, the body is not regenerating tissue as it disappears. Normally, the body’s cells replace themselves within a seven-year span (with the exception of certain brain cells.) The body’s misbehaviors, however, can stop this from happening.
How ACT can help: Our method instructs the brain to teach the body to restore tissues and regenerate areas where movement has become painful. What was once broken is fixed again, and both inflammation and pain are eliminated.
For arthritis sufferers, the journey that brings them to ACT seeking help is often nonlinear. So many times, they have spent years going back and forth between doctors and natural remedies. The most severe symptom—joint pain—eventually brings our clients here.
We aren’t going to discredit the other natural treatments listed above. It is always a good idea to support the body in every way possible when it is fighting symptoms and disease. A well-supported body functions better, has a better chance of improving symptoms, and experiences a better overall quality of life.
There is a caveat: These other natural remedies do not solve the root problem of arthritis. Although products, diets, supplements, massage, and weight loss will likely make you feel better, whatever is causing the joint pain still remains.
The ACT method does not aim for health maintenance; complete health freedom is our goal. To solve the problem fully and completely, the body must be restored to the state it was in prior to the onset of any symptoms. The pathogen must be killed off.
If you suffer from joint pain, we encourage you to change your mindset and give ACT and our 30-day money-back guarantee a try. You can learn to retrain your body to restore its critical tissues, eliminate inflammation, and feel like yourself again.
