Graduated from Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah with BS degree in Nursing, 1981. Worked in hospital setting 25+ years.

Lived in Salt Lake until 1984, Orange County California 1984-1992, and Dallas area of Texas since 1992. Married John Turek 1987. One step-daughter, 2 sons, and 6 grandsons.

Hobbies- Reading, Bible Study (Bible Study Fellowship for 9 years), I also love learning Hebrew roots of Christianity. I took private lessons in Biblical Hebrew for 4 years so I could read the Tanakh, Old Testament, in the original language.

At age 7 I received the call to be a healer when my younger sister was bedridden with Rheumatic fever, a strep infection that attacks the heart causing joint pain and swelling. She was very sick for many months and woke me several times during the nights to adjust the heating pad she had on her feet to help the pain. I remember helping her take her first steps walking when she finally recovered.

When I was 11 years old my alcoholic father died by suicide. This put me into an emotional/ mental fog for many years. I had to put that pain aside so that I could focus on school and making sure I had grades to get into college and nursing school. ACT helped me process all the emotions surrounding this traumatic event.

In 2016 I started to have symptoms that eventually led me to discover ACT. High fevers, joint pain and swelling, and extreme fatigue that persisted for months. I consulted my doctor and eventually a rheumatologist, infectious disease specialist, and then an oncologist. No medical doctor was able to find the cause of the symptoms or give a diagnosis. I had never considered alternative health and had never been sick for longer than a few days.

My sister told me about ACT and that her stepson had done this process to heal from Lyme. I laughed at the idea that something so far from my own mindset could actually heal me. My husband encouraged me to try ACT since no one else had helped me. I started ACT and was absolutely stunned when I began to feel better. I was sold on ACT and never looked back. I stayed with ACT for 2 years, first to take care of the Lyme, which was never found by traditional medicine; then I kept doing ACT to deal with the emotional issues from childhood that manifested with digestive problems.

When Gary posted on Facebook that he was starting the new practitioner program I immediately went to my knees in prayer. I wanted to do this but needed to be sure that God would bless and equip me for success and if not, I was willing to accept that too. Then I went back to Facebook and asked Gary if I could join. I was only seconds later that Gary responded. Amazingly quick answer to prayer. I was eager to get started.

I love seeing people get well using ACT. I have had clients with Lyme, joint pain, fatigue, skin rashes, herpes, candida, allergies, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, headaches, digestion problems, adoption betrayal and abandonment. My youngest client, so far, is 7 and my oldest is 84.  I’ve had one non-human client, an old dog with a ligament injury. The dog’s owner wanted to avoid the recommended surgery. With ACT and physical therapy to dog recovered.
